LAYLET SAYF

is a music concert for the Lebanese Composer Joseph Mrad performed in September 3, 2022. This concert tookplace in the Roman Amphitheater – Zouk Mikael, with an orchestra (around 35 musicians) and a choir. It was devided between instrumental music, songs and poems.

This Concert

was presented by Claude Saliba. The moral of this concert was about performing Joseph Mrad’s compositions by the singers, which they were the guests in that night: Moeen Shreif, Naji Osta, Hicham El Hajj, Pascale Sakr, Nader Khoury, Joseph Abou Malhab, Hadi Daou, Ziad Abi Khalil, Karim Nasr. Special appearance to Jihad El Atrash and the solo dancer Rana Zeidan on some of the musics.

The Concert

gathered all type of audience: Zouk Mikael’s citizens, artists, singers, actors, producers, journalists, musicians, politicians, public figures and clerics. Laylet Sayf was financed by Zouk Mikael Municipality, LBCI and theMinistry of Tourism. The importance of this event is that it came in a time of crisis where it gave hope and happiness when everybody is in need of change. CDs were available at the door and to be signed by the composer Joseph Mrad.
